SMS & Mobile Data — Special Notice

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services used to operate our SMS program.

Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services — such as customer service providers and technology vendors — is permitted under appropriate confidentiality obligations. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

  • Remember user preferences and improve user experience
  • Support marketing and advertising efforts (including via third-party platforms)

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

5. AI and automated calling / messaging disclosure

We may use AI-assisted systems and automated tools to help manage calls, messages, and lead follow-up. All such communications:

  • Are intended to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), FCC rules, and other applicable laws and regulations
  • Are only sent or placed with appropriate consent, where required
  • May be recorded and/or analyzed for quality assurance, training, compliance, and process improvement

You may opt out of marketing or automated communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by contacting us directly using the information in Section 12 below. See our SMS Terms of Service for complete details on the SMS program.

6. SMS Communication

If you provide a phone number and check the corresponding opt-in box on a form on our website, Bernhardt Riley, PLLC may use that phone number to send you SMS (text) messages. Consent to receive SMS messages is entirely optional and is not required to submit a contact form, request a consultation, or receive legal services from the Firm.

a. What messages we send

Depending on which consent boxes you check, you may receive:

  • Transactional / client-care messages: responses to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, intake confirmations, document-request notifications, deadline reminders, and direct responses to questions you send us.
  • Marketing messages (only if you separately opt in): firm news and announcements, legal updates relevant to your practice area, event invitations, and general promotional information about our services.

You may opt in to one category, both, or neither.

b. How you opt out

You may cancel your SMS subscription at any time. Reply STOP (or CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or END) to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. To re-subscribe, reply START or YES to a prior message or submit a new opt-in form on our website.

c. How you get help

Reply HELP to any message you receive from us for assistance. You may also contact us directly at (727) 275-9575 or info@brflorida.com.

d. Message frequency & carrier disclaimer

Message frequency varies based on your matter and your opt-in selections. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability and coverage.

e. How we handle your opt-in data
